I have a neighbor who has 3 very yappy dogs. She does not care if it bothers her neighbors and when I moved in several ppl warned me. I work from home so the non stop barking during the day was distracting.After 1 week I taught them to stop barking. I have even used it on my own dog. This dog used to take off as soon as we opened our front door. she goes out side a lot and stays in our yard very rarely . Now the only time she gets shocked is when she decides she wants to tear up stuff like our couch, shoes, water bottles, and trash can. It is a great deterrent and works wonderfully.
Since I have been using the device on my dog he reacts well to it I have to use the remote if he just sees it he listens to the commands
