Veterinarian Exposes Tip To Save Your Dog If They Get A Heatstroke (And The Affordable Cooling Mat That's Since Gone Viral)

HOT DOG! Dog owners go wild over a ‘godsend’ pet cooling mat that ‘absorbs heat’ – and it works just as well on road trips too!

DID YOU KNOW? Statistics show that 3 in 5 dogs experience heatstroke at least once during their lifetime, especially in hot climates. Approximately 20% of all dogs are at risk of heatstroke during peak summer months, particularly those left in hot cars or outside in extreme heat.

Do you worry about your dog overheating during those scorching summer days? Can’t believe people are still relying on fans and shady spots that just don’t cut it?

If you’re heartbroken watching your pet struggle with the heat, I totally get it. It’s time to put a swift end to this heat torture, don’t you think?

So bear with me because after reading this, I guarantee your dog will never again suffer in the heat or risk such a terrible fate as enduring a heatstroke!

See, my pup Max had a heat stroke recently which was a real wake up call for me as a dog owner.

That’s why I’m about to share:

● How to know if your dog is in danger of heatstroke on time

● How to recognize a heatstroke & exactly what to do

● How to prevent a heatstroke & keep your pup cool anywhere

Hi, I'm Sara! A few weeks ago, my dog Max collapsed.

It was totally unexpected! He was just running around the backyard as usual, playing with his ball.

All of a sudden, he was not moving! He was just lying on the grass in the sun and hyperventilating.

Luckily, I saw it happening out the window, so I went outside to check on him immediately. Seeing the fear and confusion in his eyes as he lay there was terrifying!

I panicked because I had no idea what happened and I didn’t know what to do, so I put him in the car and drove him straight to the vet.

I rushed through traffic and made several violations in fear of losing him.

The vet helped quickly cool him down and explained to me that he had a heatstroke.

Max was disoriented and weak, so the vet immediately connected him with an oxygen supply.

You’re so lucky you noticed right away when he collapsed! If you didn’t react this fast, there could be serious consequences, but this way he’ll recover fully in a few days.”

Then she told me to get him one of these new self-cooling mats as soon as I got home.

“Try ChillPaws—that’s the only brand that I can guarantee for. Their cooling mats really work, and it’s the easiest way to give your pup a break from the heat and make sure this doesn’t happen again.”

That’s how I found out about theChillPaws cooling mats, and I’ll tell you all about it soon.

But first, let me share the advice I got from Max’s vet… So that you and your dog wouldn’t have to go through the same hell as us.

This Is How You Know If Your Dog Is Having A Heat Stroke

Dogs don’t sweat in the same way as people!

They regulate their heat through panting and through their paw pads and noses.

You need to pay attention if your dog starts panting more than normal.

Other heat stroke signs and symptoms include:

● Gums and tongue going from pink to red

● Difficulty breathing, which may include a raspy tone in their breath

● You can’t count their pants

● The pet’s heart is racing

● Excessive drooling

● They stagger or collapse

“It’s excessive panting,” the vet said. “So not just what we think of as like a gentle pant, but they’re really struggling to breathe.”

When she recommended the ChillPaws cooling mat for Max, she stressed that one of the reasons why it’s so effective is that it’s in direct touch with the dog’s paw pads, which help regulate heat.

“Aside from panting and their nose, the paw pads are the most important to keep cool”, she repeated.

“That’s why I always recommend the ChillPaws cooling mat to my patients every summer!”

The ChillPaws Cooling Mat has been a lifesaver for us after the heatstroke incident.

What does heat stroke do to a dog?

When it happens, heat stroke begins damaging the dog’s brain, heart and other organs, and affects the proteins in the body, the vet said.

“As these proteins kind of fall off and unravel, that can cause a lot of changes in the body, which can lead to spontaneous bleeding and random blood clots forming in places,” she added,

It can also cause seizures, vomiting, diarrhea and massive organ failure.

“Every dog’s (and human’s) body has a temperature that it likes to work at, and if you’re a little too hot or a little too cold, it’s going to start to malfunction and not work the way it should,” she concluded.

The consequences depend on how long it takes you to react, and how long your dog has been exposed to the heat.

30 Minutes:

● Immediate symptoms like excessive panting, drooling, and rapid heartbeat.

● Quick action can often reverse the effects with minimal lasting damage.

One Hour:

● Symptoms escalate to vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, and weakness.

● Risk of organ damage increases; urgent veterinary care is critical to prevent severe complications.

Longer:

● Severe, life-threatening conditions like organ failure, seizures, and unconsciousness.

● Delayed treatment can lead to irreversible damage or death. Immediate emergency intervention is crucial.

So if it does happen, it’s extremely important to react as fast as possible!

What To Do If Your Dog Has A Heatstroke?

Get your dog inside and in a cool spot and try to give them cool water to drink or cover them with a wet towel, the vet said.

“The last thing we want to do if they’re really hot is dump an ice bucket of water on them,” she said.

Max’s veterinarian has been running her own practice in San Antonio, Texas, for over 10 years now.

“But we want to see if we can potentially start to cool them down a little bit and get them to the vet clinic.”

It is always safer to bring an animal to a veterinarian to be assessed.

A viral Facebook post urging people to wrap a dog’s feet with a wet towel might provide a little relief, but it’s not going to fix the dog, the vet told me.

“A home remedy is not going to be a substitute for veterinary care,” she stressed.

If your dog collapses and you can’t carry it, you may need to seek help from a neighbor or use a blanket or beach towel to pull them to a shady spot.

But as we all know—it’s better to prevent than to treat.

That’s why having a cooling mat like ChillPaws is VITAL to making sure your dog can manage the heat.

Especially if you have to leave him alone without supervision!

Things can get out of hand, and we already know, that the more time passes, the more serious the consequences.

Can The ChillPaws Cooling Mat Really Prevent My Dog From Overheating?

In short, ABSOLUTELY!

I tried fans, shady spots, and even wet towels, but nothing seemed to really work.

I’d even leave the AC on when I leave for work, but the electricity bills were HUGE and I couldn’t afford to keep that up.

This mat uses innovative self-cooling technology that activates as soon as Max lays on it.

Whether we’re at home, on a road trip, or enjoying the outdoors, I’m now at peace knowing he’ll stay cool and comfortable.

It’s been such a relief knowing he can finally relax without overheating.

It’s also worth noting that this mat is super easy to use! It’s foldable so you can carry it anywhere–which is a huge bonus.

Besides, it’s super easy to clean: simply wipe it with water and a soft brush or sponge and it’ll be as good as new!

What if My Dog Doesn't Like It? Is It Worth the Money?

I asked myself the same thing! I was afraid I might have spent money on something that wouldn’t really work for Max.

I was also concerned it might not last, especially because all of Max’s previous mats fell apart in just a few months!

But this mat is suitable for all pet sizes and Max loves it!

And judging by Max’s vet’s opinion and the dozens of reviews from other pet owners that I read, other dogs love it too!

“The ChillPaws Cooling Pad has been a game-changer for keeping Bella cool during heatwaves!”
— Alex, Dog Owner of Bella

“I was worried about the size, but the ChillPaws Cooling Pad was perfect for my large dog, Max!”
— Jamie, Dog Owner of Rocky

ChillPaws is easy to clean and take on the go, making it perfect for our summer adventures with Luna.”
— Taylor, Dog Owner of Luna

He’s so cute when he snuggles up on it at night and immediately dozes off.

He used to wake up and squeal and run around, but now we don’t hear a peep all night.

You can literally feel the quality of the mat when you hold it!

I jokingly told the vet on our second check-up how I may just get one for myself. Ha!

Plus, it comes with a 'Love it' Guarantee.

If, against all odds, you try it and it’s not for you, they’ll take it back—no questions asked.

And here’s the best part: over 100,000 pet owners absolutely love it!

I’ve joined a local dog owner group where we share our experiences and tips for keeping our pets cool and comfortable.

It’s a wonderful way to stay connected and make new friends.

Using the same cooling mat trusted by so many makes me feel part of a larger community.

This mat is definitel worth the money, and with the satisfaction guarantee, you’ve got nothing to lose.

But PLEASE Beware of Cheap Imitations!

I know, it’s tempting to go for cheaper options, especially when you see something that looks similar at a lower price.

But trust me, those imitations barely last a season before they fall apart. That is, unless your dog tears them apart.

On top of that, most cooling mats out there require freezing or filling with ice, and they wear out quickly, leaving you with a mess to constantly deal with.

The ChillPaws Cooling Mat is different because it’s more durable and it doesn’t require freezing or ice packs.

Instead, it relies on innovative self-cooling technology that activates as soon as your dog lays on it.

Plus, it’s built to last and bite-proof, so you don’t have to worry about it wearing out or getting torn apart like other mats.

It provides excellent cooling without any complicated setup, making it perfect for both new and experienced pet owners.

My Verdict? Absolutely Worth It!

So, is the ChillPaws Cooling Mat worth your money?

Absolutely, without a doubt! You’d think something this effective and durable would cost a fortune, right?

This cooling mat delivers exceptional cooling relief for a fraction of the price of other high-end cooling solutions.

It’s perfect for anyone looking to keep their pets comfortable during the hot summer months without breaking the bank!

So if you’re looking for a reliable, effective cooling solution that won’t drain your wallet, you need to check out the ChillPaws Cooling Mat.
